OLEAN - Janet L. Jones, of 125 Fulton St., Olean, died Saturday (March 28, 2020) at her home.
Born Jan. 31, 1950, in Buffalo, she was the daughter of Raymond and Angeline Lehner. She married John Jones Sr., who predeceased her.
Janet worked as a short-order cook at Perkins for many years.
Surviving is her mom of Hamburg; her children, John Jones Jr., Richard (Christina) Jones, Steven (Julie McNeal) Jones and Peter (Jessica Arnold) Jones; two sisters, Faith (Joe) Kencel and Hope Kaufman; a brother, Raymond Lehner; grandchildren, Richard (Desiree) Jones Jr., Hali (Meegan) Jones-Pilon, Zachary Jones, Gaaron Jones, Gabrielle Jones, Jaxon Jones, Tisha Hein and Tawny Hein; four great-grandchildren, Vera-Rose Jones, Jace Jones, Loralai Coleman and Isla Jones-Pilon; several nieces and nephews; and her extended family, Danielle Jones and Shantel Warren.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her father; her siblings, Charity and Charles Lehner; and granddaughter, Gemma Jones.
At Mrs. Jones request, there will be no services. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery, at the convenience of the family and at a later date.
